Lumyr Derisier is a Boston native who has been shooting events and portraits for over ten years. With love of dance, a passion for people, and an obsession for detail, Lumyr finds joy in the in the product and process of capturing images.
"Skills"
Lumyr presents a "calm under pressure" attitude which stems directly from his years working as an event photographer. This event experience also allowed Lumyr to developed a keen understanding low-lit, and multi-lit environments. As a dancer, Lumyr draws on his knowledge of the body to create dynamic compositions for his portraits and to provide a jovial interactive atmosphere to the shooting process.

Everyday beauty is the idea that "Everything is beautiful in its time". It s the idea that everything - and person, has it own intrinsic beauty. The feeling that we get when we see something that excites us, is an expression of that beauty being manifest. No two smiles, two flowers, or two sunsets are identical, yet in the diversity of things we are still able to find things that excite us.
